The Dodgeville Public Library is a member of the Southwest Wisconsin Library System with 28 public libraries offering services to the people of Crawford, Grant, Iowa, Lafayette, and Richland Counties.
What does the System do for Dodgeville Library patrons?
- The Library Catalog combines the collections of all 28 libraries, providing a larger selection for you.
- Delivery moves materials between libraries every day of the week.
- Patrons can borrow and return materials at any library in our 5 county area.
- Your SWLS library card may allow you to borrow items from neighboring systems due to long-standing borrowing agreements.

The Library is located at 410 East Leffler Street. This is our temporary location until our new Library’s construction is complete.
